MF is a writer based in Thailand for the last three years and churning out mostly vigilante type short stories. Next project after this most recent book, “LOS Tots Network: Secret crimes? Secret retribution.” will be a serial killer book that has been festering inside my head for years. I’m finally ready to write it.

I haven’t decided yet whether I’ll release books to be published in the traditional manner or not. Seems like such a waste of paper… Print one-million books or have 1 million ebooks that fit on a 1Gb memory stick? What a waste of paper books are.

So, I’m seriously considering releasing nothing in paperback, retaining all my rights to my work, and releasing everything as ebooks. They’re cheaper, and make a whole lot more sense. Sure some people won’t read a feature length ebook. But, some will and those are the people that are going to have smiles on their faces when they get to read my whole 350 page book for 100 Thai baht - just about $3.00 dollars.

So, that’s where my head is today… we’ll see if that changes. I am considering offering purchase of the books in groups of chapters… I’ll give you the first 60 or so pages free that you can read. If you like the story and want to buy it - buy the whole thing. If not and you’re still not sure, buy the next 100 or so pages for $2 or something outrageous. Then if you really want to know the ending - buy the rest of the book. This is how books should be sold - don’t you agree? How many times have you started reading a $12 paperback and the beginning is good… really good… then as you go on the whole book just goes to hell and dies? For me - it’s happened a couple hundred dollars worth of books.

Let’s see how this new pricing structure works or doesn’t work. Heck, in six months I might be knocking down trees like the rest of them.
