Attention Thailand Writers
December 11, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
There are a whole lot of great writers in Thailand that have not written an amazing paperback book yet. Why is that?
Paperback books suck, that’s why. Thailand based authors jump through ridiculous hoops of fire just to earn $1.34 per book sold. WTF? If you published an ebook you know what you’d make per ebook sold? About $5 minimum. $10 or more at max.
Ebooks make a whole lot of sense -and they are an open market. Writers that express themselves in a style that isn’t right for paperback publishers can write however they choose in their own ebook. Ebook writers can go from idea to finished product in about 45 days in most cases.
Ebooks are shorter that paperback 300+ page novels. And you know what? that’s a good thing.
Do you really need 75,000 words to get your point across. No, you don’t.
Thailand writers that are struggling with publishing – forget the paperback model. It’s going up in flames at the moment and will soon be a bonfire. There are ebook authors selling hundreds of ebooks per month at $5 per sale. You should be there too.
Topics are completely open – wide F*#;($@ open, for you to decide what to write about. You need not query an editor to see what topics they might be looking for. Write what you know will sell.
And, SELL IT!
Asia Black Books is looking for ebook authors now.
