For a while I was intent on buying one of the new Kindles. I like the idea of carrying around 1 electronic item that carries all my books on it. I don’t like hauling books around on trips – short, or long.
I wanted to see my Kindle Books on the real deal – and check out in-depth how the formatting looks because there I’m a perfectionist about it and I want my readers to have the best experience possible, not cussing me for jacked formatting of my books.
Then I saw a little link on Amazon. Kindle for PC. What’s that?
Kindle for PC is a software program that allows your PC to act like a Kindle. You can order, download, and read books from the Amazon Kindle store, on your PC in this Amazon Kindle for PC reader. It’s free, you don’t need to spend $189 to buy a new Kindle. If you have an iPhone and your eyes are good – use it. If your eyes are bad, use your notebook or desktop computer.
